What do you recommend for large lawn tractors?

I am looking at a Kubota BX 2230. I cut a fair number of large lawns around my home to make a little extra money and I am thinking about upgrading my mower to something a little more powerful and reliable. Just wondering what everyone uses and what is reecommended. I have heard good things about Kubota, and just wondered what you think?<br /><br />Belchy

Highly recommend Kubota Diesels. Dang near bulletproof.

Great machines and I side with JB the diesels are the best! Just keep in mind what size trailer you will need. <br /><br />Spend the extra and get the attachments too.<br /><br />Bob

I have a BX22 with the front end loader and backhoe attachments along with a 72" mowing deck. I love that machine. Neighbor has a B7300 with 72" deck and it has almost 2000 hours on it and its never had anything wrong with it.

How many yards you mow?? do you really nead a tractor? I tried a zero turn Kubota out and it is one grass eating machine or do you want the tractor for other things.

I cut about a dozen lawns, as well as take care of people's boats in the winter, so I think it would be nice to have a tractor that I can manouver boats into tight spots a little better than the truck. Also the snow thrower in the winter will be an added advantage as compared to the shovel <br /><br />Belchy

Then a tractor is the way to go!! Enjoy it !
