what does this knob do??

650ts kawaski 1990 i see a knob on the carberator is that for idle speed or jet adjustment

If its a big round knob its for idle speed.
the fuel adjsutment ones are on the body of the carb. if you have a round plate on the body of carb you have a BN carb if you have a diamond shaped one you have Super BN. Probably a BN carb is what you have
