Pretty straightforward, I work on and sail on tugs I'm new to pleasure boats, always wanted the freedom to go where I wanted, If you think pleasure boats suck money it's a lot worse on commercial vessels.

MRS are my initials I hit the wrong button when I signed up. On most other forums I go by drifter.

Re: What does your username stand for?

Mine was given to me many many years ago in my ealy twenties when I taught cat sailing. While attempting to make a high speed stall tack approaching a dock, I spun the bat toward the dock, released (I thought) the jib and main only to find that my terrified student had wrapped the lines around his legs. The sails don't let out, we ram into a tinny tied up to the dock (it sank instantly) which pops the cat up onto the dock and barrel rolling across three ski boats. After being immediately fired I was now getting a ticket from the Park Ranger who said.. 'have a nice day Dockwrecker'. I've used it since.

Re: What does your username stand for?

I picked my name because I was a newbie last year, buying my first boat at the age of 51. And my first post here was in Stupid Human Tricks.:D
58 is the year I was born.

My real name is Brian. :p
