wow
I just hope the lawyer lives longer than this news story, why, he will be 140.
I just hope JB was right about this being the biggest non story of 06. I cant imagine anything dumber.
I am happy that all are ok and gone home.
yes "accidents" happen, usually just after a careless act or a rule breaking act.
cheny did one or the other, possibly both, yet it is what it is.
but the "lawyer stamp" idea may actually catch on :) :) .

I think your stretching things a bit with this, and it looks like an attempt to spin. You're not trying to spin this, are ya, txs?

However, I would speculate that had the accident been immediately fatal, the release of information would have been quite different. I think there would have been an immediate announcement of a fatal accident, but very little else info on account of an ongoing investigation and notification procedures.

"What is the big deal, can governmental officials not have accidents? "

Just like they can't have a little extramarital fun with a cute intern, I guess.... without it getting turned into a big deal by that doggone liberal media!

I mean, really, how many times a day does THAT happen, and no big newspaper articles about it hardly at all. What a double standard!

:p

Newspapers don't have to fill up 1440 minutes a day.

What a post.

Funny we didn't call him a father, husband, friend, hunter, no a lawyer. Who gives a rip what he did for a living. It is irrelevant to the story and smacks of arrogance.

Trying to create a bridge between the shameful and crimminal acts of a degenerate drunk and **** Cheney's unfortate accident is pathetic and consistant with the tactics of the left.

Disseminating disinformation for the opportunity to a political gain makes me physically ill and tops on my list why a democrat has such a larger hurdle to overcome to earn my vote.

But hey, if things were different they wouldn't be the same.

p94, you're right, but speaking only for myself, I only referred to him as a lawyer for the humoretical aspect of it - not just irrelevant, but irreverent as well...and if he died I'd of been ashamed. In fact when word of the heart attack came out I put myself on a self-imposed moratorium on Cheney-Lawyer jokes till he was out of the woods, so to speak.

But the whole "what-if" thing is kinda...silly. Pretty sure I can say that without offending the author. right?

My purpose in this thread was to see if anyone would just step forward and say the obvious.

DRINKING AND FIREARMS DO NOT MIX.....

Everyone was to quick to jump on the name calling wagon to recognize the most important fact.

Typical! So you're saying that drinking and driving DO mix! Typical left-wing anti-bush rhetoric!
