So I ordered new impeller kit for my aq231b got sierra part #18-3081 and pulled old impeller to find out they are not same size. The old one is a jabsco and the part# on it is 22120-01 and I cant seem to find this pn anywhere. Can anyone tell me where I might be able to find this impeller????

Okay so I found a number on the pump cover plate which I believe is the model # for pump 23800-0251. After doing some searching on the net I've come up with a part # for impeller kit 18777-0001-P. My question is all the kits I have found come with a 10 blade impeller the one that came out had 12. Could this just be the way it comes now and will it be okay to use this one???? Thank you for any help

Can anyone tell me if I should use any kind of sealer on my cover plate gasket when replacing impeller???? The instuctions with the new jabsco impeller dont say to, but I have seen some people have.

Dry is best with a new gasket. No sealer. Cleaning the sealer off the next time is NOT a fun job.
