"Sync & Link" is a term used for Syncronizing the Carbuetor linkage (i,e. Throttle cam pick up, WOT throttle adjustment) along with the timing advancment (pick up timing, sometimes called idle timing, timing pointer adjustment, max timing) so they work together.
