that you put around the edges of fiberglass inside the boat. It is black and U-shaped. It is like a finish trim of some sort.

I assume you are talking about the stuff manufacturers use to dress up a cut fiberglass edge. You might try Flex Trim, enter item # 338064 at the west marine website www.westmarine.com. It comes in black and white. It is $30 for a 25ft length
