What is this liquid in exhaust cylinder?

Hi all,

Any body care to have a guess as what this liquid type stuff is?

The photo shows the exhaust port of cylinder 4. (Mercruiser 3.0L 2005) The engine has been out the boat for about 2 months now, but I only recently got the manifold off.

Yes you're right Bondo, must have been in denial before. I've looked at some earlier photos when I first removed the manifold and the water isn't there so it may just be condensation in the workshop.
