New to me 2011 Ebbtide 2200 SS Fun Cruiser. To the left of the drain there is another hole in the transom that I didn't have on my previous boat. I have the drain plug, but I don't have anything for the other hole. Just want to make sure nothing is supposed to go in there before I launch for the 1st time next week.

Also, I can't remember how to change the info in my signature. I went to user settings/about but I didn't see an option for signature.

There are a few possibilities... I'd start with the idea of a live-well or maybe a drain for a built in cooler.. Maybe part of the engine cooling system....

Look inside and trace it. If there is no pipe/hose attached then you need to plug it like the transom drain plug until you get it reconnected. If there is a pipe or hose connected you can follow it to find out what it is for.

the one in the center is your drain. the one on the left is a brass thru-hull. follow the hose on the inside to see where it goes

regarding your signature

click on your name in the upper right corner. click on user settings, then the profile is the default tab. click on the account tab. about half way down is conversation detail options and in that section is show signature and edit signature

I haven't had a chance to investigate the connection on the inside of the hull. The boat is equipped with lake water wash down points on bow and stern. I am thinking this might be the input for that system. Does that make sense?

Very possible.

There are a lot of things that you might need a thru-hull for. Sometimes they can make one hole and connect several things to it.

It is hooked up to hose that goes to an electric pump which feeds the bow and stern lake water wash-downs. Thanks.
