LOL FEESE I am glad you said it first :D. I tried mine and still couldnt see it well but it does look like a classic Glaspar . Try looking over at www.theclassicboauhouse.com you might be able to match it up over there in their galleries they have seperate galleries down on the left side of the main page click galleries then there will be 4 options to click on .

Its not necessarily cliquish here, though there are a great many who have been here a long time, and have come to know each other.

Personally, I would call the governing body that handles boat registration in the state\province, in which you live or where the boat was last registered. The people there may well be able to tell you the brand and age of the boat if it is in any more question now.
They should also be able to confirm the length of the boat as it will be on the previous registration.

No I did take the ball and leave and yes I like i boats but it seems some guys are just replying to post just between each other about things not even related to my post, i guess you can bump you post #'s up like that. Or you don't have anything better to do but post and reply about stuff that has nothing to do with the ? don't they have chat rooms for that ? my self I love boating and when I'm not doing that I'm working on making my boating better.Really when I call on this i-boat forum it's to learn something to help my boating be nice and safe. I don't come here to demean or degrade someone.I'm no better than anyone else. Thank You Happy Boating, John Mark

Don't think no-one was deliberatly trying to demean or degrade you...
Actually you were given a quick response and a direction to proceed if desired...

Not trying to alienate you John, but if you had 'read' any of these resto threads, you would of seen that the accepted and standard size for photos here is 640 x 480... very hard to get a good look at something when it's that small{at least thats what my wife tells me.. lol} chill out, look at the pix posting help threads and give 'er another try...these folks are always willing to bend over backwards to help, but not willing to bend over for insults just because someone didn't hear the answers they wanted.

This is a public forum, you have to learn to accept some odd/off topic replies{like this one}...now belly back on up to the bar and see if someone can help you figure out what you have there.
Take it from this old guy...life's too short to sweat the small things!.........Kenny

Thanks I know what you mean. Just trying to live and learn. I want to feel when I fix a boat and go out on the water that I'm safe and everyone else is too. Alot of folks telling me take her on out there and open her up.Yea but is this motor I just got running top notch going to rip the transom off the back of this boat, I think the stringers are mush too I don't want the bottom (hull) to rip open on me . I just get stressed on the safe part of all this boating. And in the Bay here the shrimpers are dragging non-stop if you sink it here you may end up buying some ripped up shrimp net and no telling what other gear they may claim on your dime.If You sink it in the shipping channel and did'nt report it soon as you swam in (if your that lucky) then you might as well sell the farm! Thank You for the wise words , John Mark

I used to have a 59 Glasspar that looked like that one. We ran a 40 hp evinrude on it,not sure of max hp,probably 50 hp or so.
