i purchased a 1969 40HP evinrude, with elec shift. the repair manual is on the way, but while I am waiting, what type and quantity of oil can I buy for the lower end, and engine? Thanks!
Use only gear lube specified for electric shifts Rusty. It'll be on the container. Bomby list theirs as Premium Blend....this can be found at any John/Rude dealer. Just make sure it's specified for electric shifts.
