What micron is factory VP fuel filter?

I have a 1999 Volvo Penta 5.0GL with factory spin on filter by the electric fuel pump. Anyone know what level micron filtering it provides? In light of the ethanol fuel this days would like to have a 10 micron filter and wondered if OEM one provides that.

Install a 10 micron aftermarket filter between the OEM filter and the gas tank. It's done all the time. The aftermarket filters are also a LOT bigger than that little OEM filter.

Thanks Don, that is what I wondered, I was worried OEM filter was not "fine" enough to catch water in our new and "improved" fuel .

Water and debris are two different issues.
