what part of engine

what part of the motor is it that is above the lower unit but below the main part of the engine. kind of the middle. and can water be in there. i know there isnt supposed to be water in the lower unit but what about that area. also the are 2 little vents right under the top part where exhaust comes out. is a little water coming out of there ok

The part thats "kind of in the middle" is the mid section. Dont know who came up with the name...<br /><br />Water is supposed to be there.

Good little motor. Those two holes in the back are exhaust relief holes and some water will exit there. <br /><br />Are you having overheating issues?
