I have a small Jon trailer with basic 4 wires for lights. The trailer end does not have a plug so wondering if there is a plug i can install on the trailer end that'll plug directly into my truck (please see pic) I've been looking but getting a headache with all the options, so a link would be appreciated
I'm looking for the most cost effective way. Thanks

I don't recognize that plug....

Looks like some sort of a 7 way but not the standard "7 way RV" plug.

Where is this plug on your truck? What kind of truck is it?

Most trailers with lights only will use a "4 way flat" connector. They also make the "7 way RV" which has a 12 VDC wire lights and brakes. They make real neat little adapters for 7 to 4 to work real clean. My Ford has both at the receiver hitch ready for either.

Give us more info or check with a local, parts house, rv store, boat dealer, trailer dealer etc.

The plug in your picture isn't the trailer connection. It's the connection for the trailer connection. There's a part that plugs into that plug and then mounts on your bumper with a standard 7 pin socket.
You will then need a male 7 pin connector for your trailer. Yes, you could use a 4 pin and a 7 to 4 adapter but then you have an adapter to keep up with. I used to have trailers with 7, 6, and 4 pin plugs and 2 different adapters. I got tired of all that and converted everything to 7 pin. It's much simpler.
It looks like smoke has the right links for your vehicle. Etrailer should also have the 7 pin for your trailer.

Thanks gents, that clarifies it for me. I need a connection for my connection before I can connect the trailer. Funny. My Yukon is a 2003 not a 2000, not sure how I messed that up, darn wires have me all screwy.

Yeah you either need a pigtail or the RV plug, you can get a pigtail with an RV or 4 flat online for less then $30. The reason why I say the pigtail with both is that your trailer probably doesn't have brakes (so small it doesn't need them) and so a 4 flat would be more then enough to handle your needs, meanwhile you still get the RV and a mounting bracket for both, if you need it immediately your OEM Manufacturer probably has them in stock, but you know they are not going to give it away. Do yourself a favor and purchase some dielectric grease for the connection to prevent corrosion, any auto parts store has it.

I use one of these, can get them at U-Haul or any RV supplier...:
