what prop for '98 1750capri for skiers and wakeboards

Hey all,

I have a 98 capri '17 footer. I have a prop on my boat now but don't know how to tell what size it is. I ran the prop into the ground awhile back and now I need a new one. I want something that will pull my skiiers and wakeboarders and single person tube. What do you all recommend?

There are two places on the prop where you will find markings. On the barrel and on the hub (you might need to take the nut off). You will either find a part number, or numbers such as 13-3/4 19P. Since you don't know what you have, there is no we can know what you have. Since neither of us knows what you have, and since we also don't know what your wide open throttle RPM and speed is, nor what power plant you have (outboard or I/O), what chance do think we have of giving you any useful information.

Sorry, I'm running a 3.0l merc 4cyl 140hp. my WOT was about 4800.

Replace it with what you have. The rpm is a tad high but pulling a couple hundred off with more pitch will screw up your hole shot.
