I came across this prop # 48-83283001-19 or # 48-83286001-19 can anyone tell me what this is for ?

Ayuh,.... It's a Merc 19" pitch prop,...

The diameter will give a clue as to whether it's an I.O prop, or outboard prop,..

If you measure from the center of the bore to the tip of a blade and double it you will have the diameter.
Let us know the size you find.

The first number refers to a 14.5 X 19 Black Max aluminum prop for a Mercury V-6/Mercruiser Alpha/Bravo 1.

That must be an old prop, as the current number is 48 832830A45 for the 14.5 X 19 Black Max.
