ahoy gang ..what kind of sealant or never sieze is best to use on my '87 force 125 lower unit.? I just threw a water pump kit in it and there is white sealant on both the pump housing bolts and the leg bolts, I searched all the threads but I cant find a clear answer. This stuff was great because i have had this force for 13 years without changing anything and i had little problem loosening the leg bolts. Also..about torqeuing with sealant (I know...no one uses a torque wrench :) )if i apply sealant to my bolt threads does that change how I should go about torqueing the bolts? I would like to find just one producy that states marine grade submursable never seize thread sealing compound..but it just doesn.t exist I suppose. Thanks for any help

The white stuff is probably White Lithium Grease.
Anti-Seize is good in fresh water but in salt can cause problems.
I use White Lithium and marine wheel grease, depending on the job.
Head bolts= marine grease.
