What Setting for the Tachometer??

I have a 1970 V4 85hp Johnson , im installing a marine tachometer, since the motor is a 2 stroke do I set the tachometer on the 8 pole or 4 pole setting?

I'm pretty sure you would set it to the 6 pole setting, stator has 12 poles.

6 pole, should be correct.
