Mike, it's correct, 2650# is only the boat weight from specifications. With a 600# trailer and some gas it's close to 3500#, the rating for "some" Venture's 2000. That's why I don't like it, it's too tight.
If you were taking the boat up or down 400 series highways then you would find the van more then overwelhmed by the hills and passing trucks. If this was a tow to Port Credit Marina and then home in Mississauga it can be done. Again anything front wheel drive must have a transmission cooler if it doesn't already and change the transmission fluid at the end of every season.<br />Mike.
