what sort of trailer

I'm looking into building a 12 foot jon boat but I will be needing a small trailer but we have a 3/4 ton pickup we can use to pull the trailer but I'm on a budget not wanting to spend too much I'm wondering would it be cheaper to buy an axle , 2 tires and some springs then building a small trailer or buy a cheap trailer.
Which would be cheaper?

Roscoe is probably right. If you had most of the parts you could canabalize it might be cheaper, but with all the cheap trailers out there buying is most likely the cheaper option. Either way good luck.

Check Craigs list-there's quite few around here for $150 on up. make sure the seller has a title though,if you need a title in Oregon.

Thank you for the relies sorry I didn't reply earlier we had a power outage here and almost nothing works without electricity but thanks I'll buy and hopefully I'll earn enough this summer to fund my 12ft dream boat.
