3 yrs ago I had Five star marine rebuild my steering actuator . Have not had any problems. Back then their website said not to use steering fluid but instead use regular ATF. Now their site says not to use ATF but instead use AW46. So my question is do I try and suction out the ATF from the reservoir and add AW46 or just leave it. Same question for the tilt reservoir.FSM018-Flyer-_Ad-2-717x1024.png

Your best bet is to call them. In their info you posted they claim to have top notch technical staff and years of experience. They should be able to help.

For the trim fluid, if you had them rebuild that as well, then same question to them. If still OEM, then follow OEM recommendation. For VP its VP Power Steering and Trim fluid, see this thread link.
