Here's one of those deals that's too good to be true... I think.<br /><br />Today, my wife's uncle told me about this guy willing to sell his house boat for next to nothing, because he's tired of paying dock fees. Says the boat has a 440 motor in good working condition, and it is at the slip, so apparently it floats. That's all I know about it right now. Don't know the size, make, year, or model. I'm going to look at this boat tomorrow. <br /><br />The question - When looking at a houseboat, what in particular should I look at? What should I be afraid of or stay away from? Is there a bad type of houseboat I should stay away from? <br /><br />As I said, no clue here... just interested in getting a deal. Thanks.
