This is as far as I have come with prep work. Most of the blue paint was sun damaged so badly that you could rub it off, so I put some aircraft paint remover on it.:joyous:
Looks like the bow deck is all stripped, just etch that area before painting or build priming, if the bottom has some deep scratches/scrapes, you can spot prime these with a rattle can build primer, fair it, then procede with a full prime and paint.
There are a few dents on the bow that do not show up very well in those pictures. I have some bondo, but I am not sure wether to use that as a filler or not. Never used bondo before and i have heard it expands and shrinks in extreme conditions.
Im not a big fan of bondo filler,............. for aluminum above the water line, I would use an aluminum infused filler like Evercoat metal to metal but thats just my personal preference, the Bondo will work on the bow deck.
