What valve do I have?

Hi Everyone,

I have a 2007 Zodiac Cadet 310 with a solid wood floor. I'm 95% sure I have boston valves based on comparing pictures and diagrams online, but I'd really appreciate some help from a Zodiac pro out there before I buy a gauge. Can you please confirm this?

Thanks,
Jon

If you have the 3 piece black screw type air valve with central black rubber pin with screw cap on top, those are standard Zodiac air valves, buy the original yellow round pressure gauge, it's the only one that will read properly. A picture, more helpfull than one thousand words...

When your deflated do you check the tightness and or hand tighten them through the fabric?

Those are Robert Halkey air valve clones, will need a special 8 thooth tool to adjust valve bottom against fabric. Factory HR valves comes well adjusted, could break interior pins where tool locks if trying to adjust more. if thinking seal is not tight as to lose air, do a soappy water test around valve and fabric and check for air bubbles.
