I am never good enough, so Santa never brings me anything.
<br /><br />Just kidding, I have recieved some gifts that i wondered why i got them, some that people made themselves that maybe they should not have, some that i would never use, but never have i received a bad gift. I was not raised that way. If someone took the time and effort in giving you a gift, then that shows they care about you. you should be thankful that you have people that will give you gifts. I have gotten some presents that i would never use, so I always give them to a charity shelter. this way the gift is received by someone who needs or will use it. so you see, the gift others might see as a bad gift, i see it as an opportunity to help others, making this a great! gift. <br /><br /> I never want gifts, thats why when my parents and wife ask for my list, I say"if you think i need it then get it for me", i never expect any gifts, just the love and caring from them.<br /><br />As i get older(only 29), i have realized that your family and friends are what is important, not the gifts. You never know when you will spend your last christmas, any holiday, or just any amount of time with them. I enjoy the holidays. it is a time for me to see a lot of freinds and family that i do not get to see during the year. I do not worry about the gifts, just the time spent.<br /><br />i am not bashing those who want the gifts. I gladly accept them, but do not ask for them. I am just speaking my 2cents on gifts. I will always give gifts to the ones i love, but never expect anything in return, just that they know how important that they are to me.
