Re: What was your worst Xmas gift ?
I am with Wikelam. I have also never recieved "bad" gifts. I always take into account the fact that they tried. I actually could care less if I get gifts, I am a bit old for that. I do like getting good gifts though. I am very difficult to shop for, so my family has learned through the years that there is only one sure gift for me, and that is cold hard currency. My better half will always get me something from the heart, and also something useful, but she makes sure the useful something is actually useful by asking me exactly what I would want, down to the model number. This year it was a hand-held GPS, but she didn't know what to get at all, didn't even know what a GPS was, so I picked it out and she bought it (I found it on ebay and got it for half of the in-store cost).

People are always tempted to give me tools. Of course, you can never have too many tools, but I have thousands of dollars of tools in the garage, it may be time to think of other gifts. When I do get tools, they are almost always cheapies that end up in the yard sale I have every summer. Its too bad, but I would break them so quickly with what I do, so better someone else get use out of them. My better half is wise, she was taught by her father that if she buys her man tools, they have to come from Snap-on, Mac, or at least Craftsman.
