Hey guys, What would cause these wires going to the voltage regulator to melt together ?? and would this cause any issues other than the charging circuit ?? ( Motor in my sig )

I ask because I still have an ongoing problem with anything past 4k I get what feels like a rev limiter kicking in and out nonstop and cannot go full throttle.

Obviously any time a wire, or in this situation, the connectors melt, that means they are heating up from either one of two reasons. First, they are trying to carry more current then they are made for. Second is there is some serious corrosion going on. So I would start by cleaning all the connections whether they look good or not. Looking at the picture you provided, it look like it is only the connectors that got hot and not the wires themselves. So time to clean the corrosion and see if that fixes the problem. JMHO!

Looks like you need to check the voltage on the charging circuit when it is running to see if it is over charging.

those type connectors are notorious for that with that chargin' system... they heat/cool and get loose.. we always solder/heat shrink new ones which puts an end to that..... ya might test 'em (regs)... may/may not be good......
