Hello again all,

i was just given a Sears Gamefisher 7.5 H.P. outboard (but no manual)and would like to know when it was made (and the fuel mix), The Serial number is 7K005663 and the Model number is 217/58589-0. I went to the Sears website and the manual is no longer available and that brings me to a question of ethics/legality. Sorry, this has probably been asked before but i couldn't find the answer. If an original manual is no longer available from the source is it legal and or ethical to ask someone to reproduce(photocopy or scan) it for you. Now i realize "iboats" sells aftermarket manuals and I'm not trying to step on any toes, however i am interested in an original manual that is make and model specific.

This really is a great site and i feel iboats is doing all of us a great service by letting us ask and learn here.

Thanks iboats.com

That's a 1977 Model ya got there. Fuel mix is 50:1. Or about 2.5 ounces TCW-3 oil to 1 Gal gas. I do not know where to get the original factory manual, if there was such a thing. I would think that if someone has it, you could exchange E-mails with no problem as long as it's not posted on this site(The Manual). The ESKA Manual will give you all you need, though.(Stock # ES1006)

web page

Manual
