First of all, thanks to everyone who takes the time to help out on this site. Keep up the great work. Now, is there a website out there where we could identify the year of our motors?

Thanks for the links guys. I have looked on my engine block and can't seem to find where the serial number and model number are located. The motor is a 70HP, and I was told it's a 1991. I want to make sure. Where can I find the numbers?

I found the folowing numbers on my block, none which look like a serial number or model number to me. (#1) 329835 with a G under it, is located in between the 1st and 2nd spark plug. (#2) 334474 is located on the side of the block. (#3) G2535517 is located on a silver plug on top of the block. Any ideas????? I need to identify so I can get a manual.

Look on the side of the transom bracket.

OK. I found these number on top of the transom bracket. 20K02 and 136694.<br />Do any of these numbers identify the year of my motor?
