What year is my mariner

Just wanted to know if anyone knows the year of this motor
And I most likely will need a carb kit. This is what is on the ID tag /Mariner 9.9c 682cs 003404 thanks for any help

Thank you on that. where is the best place to buy a carb kit also have a 98 merc 9.9 4 stroke need a carb kit for it also. thanks for your help

Yes new to me bought it at local flea market took a chance on it.I was impressed how stout the motor is compared to my evinrude and Johnson.they really are my go to motors anyway this seemed to have good compression and it was all there including gas tank 75 dollars so I own it now I get to.see how much it's really going to cost

Nothing to do with the best place to buy parts but for the Mariner you might have better luck buying Yamaha branded parts. More than likely that Mariner branded parts won't be readily available.

You can get the part numbers for the carb kits from a place like crowleymarine or marineengine. You can then source them from most anywhere. ebasicpower is another place for carb kits.

It is likely Sierra or GLM make aftermarket carb kits. These are usually just fine to use.
