What year is my motor the S/N -C403793
Model#- RKL26S

I need to find some parts anyone know a site to order off of?

I recently got the motor did a compression test before buying and it had 101 & 105 compression. When I got home I pulled the head and I have a blown piston and another on the way...

RKL-26 is a 1964 40hp Johnson.

I have a 1956 FD-10 15 HP Johnson. I have had great luck getting parts from marinemanifold.com. And an added bonus is they are a Canadian Dealer!

101 and 105 with a blown piston? Seems high.

Yeah it is fairly odd isn't it? I don't think it is the tester because the original owner had done a test before and gotten 105-110 so the results are fairly similar.

The guy said it ran last year but it turns out probably not by the looks of the magneito and armature plate.
