what year is this mercury?

Hey guys want to find out the year of a mercury I'm considering on buying, number is;4802937. And can the shaft lenght be determined by the serial number? Thanks! 4.5hp The owner of the motor measured 30 inches from the bottom of the case to the tip of the skeg.

Whats the HP and no you can't tell shaft length by serial number

He needs to mesure from the inside of the clamp bracket to the cavitation plate. 15" would be short and 20" would be long

And I'm looking for the same thing.

75 HP, and the serial number is OG213633.
