1976 16' ss at a semi-local shop. A few dings, pretty straight. solid transom/deck. Nice gal. trailer with a few rusty bolts. 70's 70 johnson. Runs, good even compression but with an electrical gremlin thats causing problems. they are asking $900 for it.

The hull looks nice, and it looks like its sitting on a nice galvanized trailer. I don't know much about the engine, but it looks like a late 70's. Around here that's a very fair price. I would look at selling the engine for $300-$400 as a parts/ fixer and buy a newer/different one

Looks like decent deal. Offer $650 or $700 due to gremlin, can always go up. Those can be a pain to track down.

I'm not interested in the outboard at all. If I could sell it for 300-400 with controls I would be great on the deal.

I go with 64. ^^^^ It never hurts to offer less than the sell asks. Is the paint stripped?

I think the price is decent, I'm just having crazy thoughts on this. I have a 190 superfisherman, but due to additions to the boating family, I'm thinking about getting a smaller boat since I'm almost shure I lost the battle with my wife on the pontoon. this would be my fishing boat. I'm just used to having the 19. Its a tough decision.

Don't worry EZ, I went yesterday to get it and there was a deposit on it. It was for sale for almost 2 months, and me dragging my feet this week made me miss it by a day. However, I do have a nice used '88 140 johnson with a very nice matching '88 9.9 kicker for the back of that ss of yours sitting in my shed. How about that instead?

900 is a good price, but like it has been said before, go lower a bit. But I have seen worse go for more and this time of year thats a good deal..............Part out motor go newer for sure! Good Luck.
