Anyone ever seen the likes of this? Found it in the boat whilst removing/replacing carpet and upholstery for an upgrade.
Bigger hole is threaded, smaller is not thru...

might be a type of locking device similiar to the OMC shift cable adjustment.Threads on to make/set and adjustment and the small hole accepts a both to hold it in place.

Are those things worth using? We get alot of trailer thefts here in Fla. That would blow coming back to the ramp and find your trailer gone.

They are worth it. If a thief cuts that off to take the trailer at least it makes them work for it.

just have to use a locking drawback and a ball that has a weld bead on it. (well, at least a drawback lock, otherwise you aren't even slowing anyone down.)

I don't need to make my trailer theft proof, just harder to steal than yours is.
