whats the deal with foam?

i need to know what foam i need to use under my deck. i will be needing it soon. will 2# suffice. 4#? bigger?
i may be leaving one stringer in my sea ray. so the foam from the outer stringer to the port side will be staying. its roughly 1/4 of the width. if the foam that i will be getting is different than whats already there, will i have problems floating level???????

no problems....i was just looking at your other thread.....2 lb will be fine. as far as how much?...we wont know till you get everything out.

you also said you sucked water out from under some foam......that wet stuff is coming out right?....it will never dry out....if it does get dry....it will act like a sponge the second it gets wet
