The manual's I am the most familiar with are the one's put out by OMC. What I like about them is you have a manual for each engine so you are not wading through a New York phone book to do a simple task. They are well illistrated,showing any special tool that may be needed, along with the part number for that tool. Having looked at after market manual's, I can see where they could carry you right into trouble. The original manual can be exspensive, but then! so is the engine they pertain to.
