Finally named ours after 3 seasons. Until this year we didnt name it because we couldnt really come up with a good name, but then this year we have had one problem after another, so we figured we better name it and go through the ceremony.

Named it "WISH'N WELL". Basically we just throw money in it and wish it works.

Of course they both translate to 1088472 in decimal so I guess it is like "a numbered company"

My first boat was a ratty little bow-rider, a former camp boat, I named Privateer.

My second boat was already named Enterprise (after Starship Enterprise) - kind of cool so I kept that name.

I sometimes feel I waited to long to get my first boat.so my new boat name is "Bucket List", i feel sure its been used a couple hundred times.

Well, it was "Lundsrude" (Lund boat with an Evinrude outboard -- plus I had a friend who's middle name actually was Lundsrude -- we're both Swedes).

Only trouble is I just replaced the Evinrude 35 with a Honda 50. "Lundsda" doesn't have quite the same ring! Pretty close to Uff-da, though!

I've heard it's bad luck to re-name a boat. Any input on that?

We didn't have a name until about a month ago when we found out the wife was pregnant we had a name for a boy and name for a girl. after we found out it was a boy, well we both looked at each other at the same said "now we have a name for the boat = ARIEL".

my wife is a twin and the less straight laced of the two. i call her evil twin. decided that was a good name for my boat also. after further consideration i am going with "My Evil Sancha" as the name of my first boat.

Buddy of mine had a 26ft Chris Craft named the "Moist and Tender." Interpretation I will leave to the reader.
