What's the year and model? (Starcraft?)

Just bought this boat. No title. All they said was possibly a 1970's Starcraft. It's all aluminum except the bow, which is fiberglass. Any ideas?

It's a 1960's Starcraft. Possibly a Jet (although there were lots of smallish closed bow models a that time).

With the rounded windshield I was thinking 60's too. Thanks

Where do all the guys on this forum get parts for these old boats? I mean like lights, decals, gauges and stuff. I want to restore my boat and be as true to the original as possible without going too crazy!

Don't know where you live but, before I put another penny into it I would get all the necessary paper on the boat and trailer. It took me about 4 months, 2 plane trips to AZ and about twice what I paid for my boat and trailer to get it "legal". I bought a parts boat last week with no title and I literally have to cut it up in little pieces, put it in a dump truck, cover it with other trash to take it to the dump.

Nice boat,

I live in Illinois. I only paid $300 for the boat and the trailer! The lady I bought it from swears she has the title and is in the process of trying to find it! Thanks

Welcome to TinLand, pearl. The fiberglass bow deck should help ID her. I think all the 60's tin SCs are 100% aluminum. But the windshield definitely has that 60's look. OK - so what's under that thingie in front of the windshield?

If you can get the length, width, transom height, number of knee braces and original color this information will help narrow down which year and model you have. Starcraft put the info plate for their boats near where the motor controls are.

The Illinois DNR's web site has a form you can print out and fill out that gives the DNR power of attorney to contact the last registered owner if the title is lost. This should help you out a lot.
