wheel bearings snipe trailer

I have a snipe trailer, i need new bearings. i measured the inside diameter and outside i get 35mm inside and between 60 & 61mm outside does anyone know what the part number for these. the last time i bought a set i thought they were from an old vw golf.

Ayuh,... The part #s should be stamped onto the races...

i dont have them on me, the boat is about 60 miles away.

Since we have no idea what you measured and how, we can't really help other than to say your measurements translate to roughly 1-3/8 outer and 2-3/8 inner which obviously are not standard trailer bearings (except perhaps the outer bearing). You really need to pop the races and then buy matched matched sets using the race and bearing numbers.

they are 35mm inner and 60mm outher.

I have a feeling he measured the OD, not the ID.

got sorted today. the wheel bearings are from a mk1 vw golf.

Good you figured it out - now to the next question - snipe trailer? I thought your were supposed to hunt for snipe, not fish for them?

Oh no!!!! Snipe are really good tasting but there are two varieties. If you use a white light to bag them you catch the bad ones. Use a light with a red lens to bag the tasty ones.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
