If I remember right, at least one bearing was a regular 1" trailer bearing set. Knock out the cups and measure them, if they measure 1.98 or so, it sounds like you got the same set of rear hubs I used. I just took a hub down to the bearing supply and got a seal to work for what I needed.
Take a caliper and measure the bearings you have, they may already be right?
I think the OE bearings in the hubs I used may have been 1 1/6" ID, I think all I did was swap out the cones and replace the seals.
I wouldn't think the 1986 would be very different than a 1987, were the drums just lightly pressed on? 5 on 4.5" lug pattern?
no 86 dodge aires, but i did find a set off of a 87 plymouth reliant, wich i guess cross over... now o need to get the bearins all set up. as for price, both hubs were $30.
you wouldnt happen to have the part numbers used for the aires???
