Took mine out for the first time in 2004 this weekend...
Whatever you do, check all the knots in your lines. I didn't and watched in total embarassment as my boat came off the trailer and the bow line tightened up and, and, and... kept going toward the middle of the lake. I stood there dunbfounded with the unknotted bow line in my hand.
Fortunatly a fellow boater went out and retrieved it for me, seems it had happened to him as well.

Well, I was in teh water twice already this year, January 1st & 2nd. Then I put the boat in the backyard because it was a little cold, until now. I have fired mine up a few times in the last 9 weeks and it is rarring to go. Hope to get it wet this saturday.

Hope to be in by mid April for the flounder season. Finished installing the FWC system, going to add trim tabs and GPS. Bottom needs painting....seems to never end!

I put mine in the water today for the first time this year/season. The old girl ran just great, although I did have to dodge the rowing teams in their almost no freeboard boats. It was all of 49 degrees today for the high in Everett, WA. had a bit of a wind chill factor at 40 MPH.

http://www.myfishingpictures.com/showphoto.php?photo=13003

Craig

Mine will come out as soon as the lake level is high enough. Thats okay, I am a third of the way through a wet sanding the gelcoat love fest right now anyway, but once I am done with that, then I'll be chompin' at the bit.

Hutch40, you be preachin' to tha choir...Pend Oreille is clear, temps have been in the fifties, and the launch ramps are useless...
