When did OMC stop making Johnson?

Hi, my motor is a 1998 model 25 horse. Was that the last year that the motor was made by OMC? <br /><br />Also, what is your take on a general comparison between the OMC years and the Bombardier (sp?) years? Did the motors change much?<br /><br />Thanks.

Yep...what Rick said. No surprise probably but we got our "Real Deal" rag from BRP today. Main jist was that the V4 and V6 carburated engines will be no more from BRP. Get used to E-Tec folks......Man! I gotta' go back to school.
