Where can I go?

I made a mistake. I just bought a bigger boat at the end of this season. We where able to use it twice, both on 55 degree days, before it got put away. I live in upstate NY and today it's 32 degrees. I can't stop thinking about boating. The boat is in my yard, covered and winterized. I have to look at it every time I come home.

Where can I trailer this boat (still being in fresh water) to use this boat where its warm enough to get my fix? I Any suggestions?

I have the same problem! I just bought my Scarab, and used it twice. Now it's winterized, in my driveway and promising me every day that winter is going to long, cold and... well... lonnnnnng.

 Gives me plenty of time to add new graphics and get the CMI header exhaust on there. Gotta look at the bright side!

Head over to the inland waterway......then point the boat SOUTH. Stop when you see palm trees.

Sunday will be mild, so if you really must do it, and are willing to undo and redo the
winter prep, go for it.

Otherwise, they say that expectation heightens the experience,
if and when it does come around.

Mine is all tarped up, and will have to wait until next year.

Re: Where can I go?

I can sympathize entirely. We bought our boat on Christmas eve last year, 15 degrees out, no sea trials, had a mechanic check her out. I figured that it was only 4 months until Spring launch and we hadn't gotten any real snow in years so didn't shrink wrap it, only had the mooring cover on. Of course then we got lots of snow, literally every other day on a freak winter. I thought about my boat, alone and shivering down in the marina's yard, like 10 times a day; torture.
