Ok i got the key thing worked out on that 115 yamaha. My wifes toyota key turns it and it turns to the on possition they you turn it more and it goes to start and springs back to on when you let go. So hopefully that will do it. Now I dont have a manual for this yet but im trying to get it running and i have no idea where to hook up the battery. Even if i cannot get it to run today I at least want to be able to check out the tilt and trim. I think one of the terminals connects to the starter (not sure) as there is a empty screw post on it. Im not sure where the other hooks up too. Everything is pretty basic connections from the controlld to the motor its color coded (like there is a black 10 prong plug that plugs into the black one, Green plugs into the green one). But what i dont see is where to hook up the battery. Thanks for any help anyone can give me!!

From the positive lead on the battery you need to go to the starter solenoid. There will be a large post that accepts a 3/8" lug. The other large lug goes from solenoid to the starter motor. If I remember correctly that's how the starters are set up.
