where do you store your anchor?

My anchor and rope tend to get gross. Where should I keep it so it will not get stuff all over my boat? Stingray 195

I always take the time to dunk and even use my hands to clean the anchor before putting it back in the boat. I also have anchor storage bags made from a pvc reinforced mesh. I use the port side locker under the bow seat.
