I recently purchased a '98 Regal with the GM 3.0L engine. The engine has about 8 hours on it, and is idling a little high. When I do the first oil change I plan to set the idle mixture with a vacuum gauge. I understand there is a vacuum port on the intake I can use to do this, but it is not obvious to me where it is. Can anyone give me a description of where to find it? - Thanks

There is no vac port shown in the manuals. Why not the idle drop method.
close gently untill it stumbles, open slowly untill it runs smooth, add a 1/2 turn richer(out)

That sounds like my only option. I was hoping for something more objective like a precise needle indication rather than my untrained eyes and ears. Can I assume this is done in neutral, warm and at 700 RPM? Thank You!

I currently have it set about 1.5 turns out. Isn't this normally close? - Thanks
