Where the heck is this leak coming from?

I have been slowly putting out the leaking fires in my cuddy:

1) Anchor well drain: fixed
2) Starboard Nav light: fixed
3) Hatch: mostly fixed (some one looks like they tried to "fix" the hatch) I will need to do more testing water looks like only condensation.

4) Roof? For the life of me I can't see anything that would cause this. Maybe something is leaking through the hatch. I do see a puddle of pinkish water similar to the tint of some fiberglass.

If nothing bolted to the cuddy roof on top in that area, I would strongly suspect the hatch. Since its already been problematic, I would remove it completely, check for signs of water intrusion on the edges, and reseal/reinstall it.

I was hoping someone would suggest something magic I neglected to consider, but I think you are correct. The hatch is the only thing "uphill" from the the spot that is leaking where I could see water is coming from.

I guess the next question is how much 5200 do I need to reseal this thing? I have a 3oz tube, though I wonder if I need to get the one for my caulk gun?

Might consider just replacing the seal on your hatch. If you don't use it and don't plan to, the 5200 will work too.

If you use 5200 and ever decide to replace the hatch-- bring a chainsaw.

personally, I'd use something a little less drastic than 5200, like plain old clear silicone- it will seal the leak (if that's where it's coming from) and isn't permanent. 5200 is not something to use on things that may need to be removed-- !

I was watching a video and they mention don't use 5200. I do have a lot of silicone left over from a bathroom remodel, I might use that.

I got home and started taking things apart. I am curious if the water could be coming from the screws and seeping in? I looked at the under side of the ring and there is a solid bead of caulk going around it. One of the screws is going through the bead of caulk. I am thinking of getting some silicone caulk and squirting deep into each hole.

What do you guys think? Should I try to pry this thing off, it only took me a couple of minutes with an impact driver to remove all the screws and hatch? I am unsure if they used 5200 to secure this thing. I wouldn't mind just caulking the screw holes better and putting them back in.

Get in the cuddy, maybe peel back the headliner a bit so you can see, and have someone spray the top of the cuddy with a hose; look for the leak?

Might save you having to remove the whole thing and reinstalling. I wouldn't use silicone, btw, but thats just me. 3M 4200 would be my choice.
