Picked up a 1998 Stingray 220CX today, it was supposed to be a 2000 model, but he was mistaken, Only 72 hours on it.
EZloader trailer and I need 4 new tires. Tires on it now are ALL dry rotted and cracked and he thought they were fine ???? I drove 4 hours to meet him, he drove 2 1/2. I was so pissed I nearly backed out of the deal and actually wish I would have, but I didn't so now I need to buy 4 tires. Where do you guys buy them? They are RIDICULOUSLY priced!!!

Have you tried tire rack dot com? I haven't looked to see what they have or how much, but they may be cheaper. Ask a tire store how much to mount and balance for you. Hope that helps.

Go ther and click on tires then put in your size and it will show you what they have. Prices seem pretty good, but you do need them mounted.

You didn't mention what load rating you need, so its hard to give you a price. etrailer.com has a good selection of Kenda Loadstar tires which I have used with good results.

Tractor Supply also carries boat trailer tires. Walmart does too, but haven't priced them there.

I have bought most of my Trailer tires at TSC and always been happy. Have my own tire mount unit so can buy what I can feel is the best deal.

Not a good idea to run passenger car tires on a trailer. They are constructed different. I will admit to having done that in the past on a trailer that was used twice a year to launch in the Spring and take out I the Fall at a marina that was twenty miles from home but I would not do it on any of my boats that I regularly trailer.

tsc, walmart, sam's club, ect.. your talking about tires every one needs tires so demand is kind of high making prices higher the fact is $300 bucks for tires now will get you to 2016-2020 depending how much travel you do. your not going to find $30 tires unless there 10 years old on a craigslist ad.

also cant imagine any one putting 175 80 r13's on a double axle trailer i would see if you can get 205 75 14's be about the same price but its twice the tire. radials to bias is your choice niether one is better then the other both will last you 5+ years under the right conditions.

That's what came on it, I just figured the trailer manufacturer knew what they were doing. Plus, I really doubt the tire you're suggesting would fit under the fenders.
