where to find a 1976 merc 4.5 lower unit

hi i bought a 1976 4.5hp merc motor it runs fine but it dosnt **** water i figured it was the pump and was told to take the lower off, now the fun part i was told to take the prop off and put the motor in forward take all the nuts and screws off the lower and i did but it still wasnt moving the guy told me it was old abd probaly needed a tap sooo i tapped it with a rubber mallet an i brok the fin above the prop right off is there any place to get one cheap as i only paid 100 for the tank hose and motor thanks

i found a lower unit on ebay for a 4hp will it work for a 4.5hp
