I need a new lower unit for my Mariner 60E 675-309558. I haven't been able to find the right one so far as Mercury's parts catalog shows it as discontinued and I can't find it anywhere else. The closest I have been able to find is the lower unit for the 3 cylinder version of mine, which is a 2 cylinder. The only difference I can tell is the model number. The one I need is a 7696M, the ones I found are 9593A. Does anyone know if those are compatible and if not, where to get the right one?
